Great toy for babies
My son loved this when he was a baby. It is easy to grip and for them to teethe on. He loved the fact that he was able to move the segments around and that he could carry it easily.

It's alright-
I loved the idea of this toy but it could use some improvements. It is easy for littleones to grab but the rattle in the core is not loud at all. You have to shake really hard to hear it. And the leaves are just cloth- no crinkly material inside to make noise with them. Both of these improvements would greatly improve the long term "playability" of this toy.

The whole reason I got this toy was for the fact that it has these cute looking green things that the baby can grab on and shake the heck out of it. The rubber/plastic green thingies are easy to grab by a baby and the toy is working well.

Like a previous review said, this item does NOT chime. It rattles, but just barely. As a rattle, it's useless. My baby still likes holding it, so we'll keep it. But while the baby is happy with this item, I'm disappointed.

This rattle is the perfect size for those uncoordinated hands to grab at and hang on to. It makes noise when you shake it. It is bright and lightweight. My grandson enjoys it very much!

The description of this product says it "chimes". It makes sound, but only a slight rattle sound. It sounds like there might be a few little plastic balls inside to make this weak rattle sound. It definitely doesn't "chime". I returned it.
