I bought this toy for my newborn, and she has really warmed up to it (especially the sunshine side). I think it will also serve as a nice lesson on daytime and nightime when she's older, as it has a sun on one side and a moon on the other. The toy seems very durable, with nice bright colors and strong construction. If I could change one thing, it would be the hanging hook, which won't open to put it around large bars. You have to put it around a string or a thin bar.

Aside from that, I plan on buying more of these Lamaze products for my curious little daughter.

There are so many ways for baby to engage self with this one little toy, it's amazing! The little blue square with the parrot on it is a rattle baby can bat or jostle for several minutes of fun. Bee is a sweet little squeak toy. Star is a textured teether. And the textured rings are a nice touch as well. All of these in addition to the different colors and textures of the cute, cute sun. And then there is the adorable moon on the reverse side. Of course, the faces on the sun and moon are fun for baby, too. It's easy to see how the use of this toy will grow with baby so it will be useful for several months or longer. A very impressive little toy. It should be on every new mom's must have list.

I didn't even know there was a moon on the other side of this little guy! I love it, it's cuddly, and it has multiple danglies for lots of fun. I will eventually collect all of the Lamaze toys.

Our 5 month old twins have had several Lamaze toys like this one. They absolutely love them. We first got this one at 4 months. They were completely taken by the sunny face and wealth of things to grab onto. Now at 5 months, they've started specifically zeroeing in on what they want to grab on this toy as it hangs over them on their playmat. They love to chew on the knotted sun rays. I highly recommend the Lamaze toys in general.

My baby is only 6 weeks old so she has not had a chanse to really enjoy it, but the colors have cought her eye. It is actually bigger than anticipated. Not sure how to clean the body part of it- I am a germ-a-phobe so will have to figure that part out.

We received this as a shower gift and I didn't think 8 months later, my son would still be loving this toy. As he's grown older the more difficult elements (squeak and hiding the star in the moon) have grown with him. When he was younger, around 3 months, this was a very challenging and useful toy. Would HIGHLY recommend!!

My daughter really enjoys this toy. She likes all of the different gadgets she can grab onto and all of the great sounds the Celeste makes. This toy has so many great things to look at and feel.

This is my daughter's favorite toy. She will play with it for long periods of time. Her favorite part is the purple bee face, which she tends to chew. She is crawling now, and drags it around with her. Thank goodness I can wash and dry it!!

We bought this to clip to our son's shoulder strap in his car seat. He can play with it without me worrying it will get thrown to the floor where I can't retrieve it for him while I'm driving. I would like to see it make music and stuff, though. Good for teething babies, but limited on the entertainment value.

Great gift for new mothers and baby girls. My daugter loved her smily sunny face and we put it in her crib and stroller. She has outgrown the toy but it has been passed on to our niece who loves it. Toy has lasted more than 5 years so far and is easy to clean.
