We bought this when my daughter was about 3 months old and starting to show teething symptoms but she wasn't able to manipulate it well enough to make it vibrate herself until she was 4 months old and since then she's loved it. My only complaint is that the hook on top isn't easy to use and could be designed better so that the toy would hook on to more things.

i thought the other star vibrating teether thing would be better but was wrong. the star one is easier to figure out(my son didnt figure this one until 7 mos), but it tires his jaw out. where as the lamaze teether is sorta tricky to figure out, but once had, is extremely easy for the child that really wants to "workout" their gums.

Very cute product. The batteries run out quickly because there isnt an on off switch, so if it gets stuck against something and continues to vibrate, it runs out of batteries quickly

Lamaze Flutterbug Teether: I bought it for 7.99 with free shipping.
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 7 MONTH OLD daughter. I had a limited budget so I would NOT have spent more on it. She likes it even though she can't always manipulate it to vibrate yet. Her Uncle is 12 MONTHS OLD and he LOVES it so I can see her getting my moneys worth out of it. I have seen her get more joy from regular teethers and from soft clip-on toys. In the end it's a teether, it encourages babies to refine their motor skills by making it vibrate and it clips onto things for easy on the go entertainment. =) |
