I bought this toy because of it's five star reviews and the age recommendation of six months plus. My six month old son is nothing but frustrated when he sees these cute, bright toys, but is unable to grasp onto them well. They were not made for little tiny hands. My five year old daughter has enjoyed stacking them several times...but grew bored after a week or so of this activity.

These things are great. They're cute, they're magnetic, they do exactly what the package says they do.... truth in advertising, it's that what everyone really wants? The floating magnets inside each one is ingenious. They'll stick to each other upside down or right side up or whichever way you want to stick them because the magnets inside aren't fixed to anything and are able to orient themselves to whichever way your kid is playing with them. They also have rubberized chewy-esque little limbs/wings/tails which my six month old really appreciates. We like the Pond Stackers! You will too! Get some!

perfect toy, keep them in a basket to fill and spill. She loves these toys. I checked on the plastic, safe to chew on. A winner. She likes to stack them , spill them-recommended

These are so wonderful for a child starting to learn how to stack objects, they "snap" together so easily and are fun bright colors and shapes. My nine month old enjoys these very much and will play with them everyday, that is a lot considering the attention span of a nine month old.

The age recommendation for this toy is not correct since these are very chunky and not easily grasped by little hands. I actually like these, but use them for my 2 and 4 year children. I use them to teach about magnetism by having them stick the toys to different things to see what does and does not work. These do not balance well so are inaffectual as stackers, but are great teaching tools and very cute. There look keeps my kids interested more than ordinary magnets.

Santa brought these last year to our 6 month old. He has not stopped liking them yet, a year later! ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got these for our daughter at Christmas when she was 16 months old -- in retrospect, we could have purchased these much sooner. While not an absolute favorite, they do get played with -- worth the inexpensive price. The magnets are not super strong, which has led her to experiment with how far she can move a stack without having them come unstuck. Also depending on what order you stack them all 6 may not stack successfully. Some infants and young toddlers don't grock to stacking and use blocks more as cymbals or build horizontally -- this is one way to demonstrate vertical construction, if you wish.

Our 12 month old grandchildren enjoyed these toys, especially chewing on them. I did not give it 5 stars because i thought the toys were able to stick together sideways too. That didn't seem to work.

These pond stackers are great because they are much like blocks, but the light magnetic attraction helps them stick together. They are fun for my son to knowck down, but the appendages on the side aid him in picking them up, too. The colors are bright and the pond creatures keep his attention.
