1. The quality is poor. Shame coming from Lamaze. Actually, is it a true Lamaze? There was a lame sticker with the brand's name, that's all. And it looked as it had been printed on a home printer...
2. Toys are well balanced and they always stop at the same position, which is why I think the kids get bored so quickly. 3. Does its job, if not used too often. 3 stars, even though it was a disappointment. Cheers.

First long car trip, so glad I had this!,

My daughter was 11 weeks when I introduced this. I probably could have done it a couple weeks earlier as she had started to reach out and touch things. She immediately reached out to the gems on the center sun and once she could hold on she really was interested in moving it. There is a mirror on the other side of the sun and she LOVED the mirror. It was a life saver for our first plane ride and then for few long car trips.
I will admit this captivated her interest very well for about two weeks and now - eh, just okay. I think babies need variety of toys and it is good to set things aside for a few days and bring them out again. I've set aside the activity bar and will bring it out again next week. This week it's all about the infantimo monkey. =)

well made and concept is good but not as interesting as some. all this one does is spin (all three toys) so my son, 6-10 months, bored of it quickly. he has several different types of these and prefers the ones who have more variety (music, spinning, pulling, etc.) we bought several for our summer vacation (in the car) and this one was used the least.

I purchased this item when my daughter was about 5 months old. She enjoys playing with the bee and ladybug spinner as well as banging on the rattle, even now at nearly 10 months. The mirror also is a popular feature with her.
We think this toy improved her disposition in the carseat, because it gave her something to engage with. Due to the position of the carrier in the back seat, she could not see much other than the seatback and seemingly became bored. The toy seemed to help that quite a bit. It seems to stay in place well and can be slid out of the way when you need to access the baby. The only thing I'd say is a negative is that when you rotate the carseat handle up, unless you remove the toy, it blocks full retraction behind the hood of our Chicco Keyfit 30. This position makes it more likely that you'll bump the baby's head on the toy as you take her out of the carseat. It's a fairly minor inconvenience compared to the enjoyment she gets from the toy.

My daughter only enjoyed this toy for a very short time period (maybe 1 month) and it's pretty short so it barely fit across her car seat. We liked it, but I don't know if I would buy it again.

We had this on our maxi cosi mico car seat since baby was old enough to notice it (6 weeks). We just transitioned to the big car seat, and I am really sad she can't have this in front of her anymore. It's GREAT for keeping baby busy while you're on long car rides or out to a grown up dinner. And, while in the beginning she was only able to look at it, now, at 6 months, she still loves spinning the spinners, and trying to bite everything...I wish there was a way to attach this to the big car seat....I still plan on keeping it in the diaper bag for restaurant high chair play. Great product (like every Lamaze product we own)!
