This dietary supplement for dogs and cats, with zinc and proteins, is formulated to improve pet's skin and coat. The absence of fatty acids in the diet may result in dull coats and itchy, flaky skin. Linatone Plus is formulated to give dogs and cats linoleic acid that their bodies cannot absorb from commercial food. The formula also promotes a healthy coat and normal skin. It contains essential fatty acids and vitamins A, D and E. Also contains zinc and protein to help prevent shedding and maintain vibrant coats. Helps revitalize healthy skin and coat for dogs and cats. Veterinarian recommended. Contains soybean oil, glyceryl oleate, water, hydrolized milk protein, lecithin, zinc sulfate, vitamin E, methylparaban, annatto, vitamin a palmitate, propylparaben, anise oil, vitamin D3, dimethicone. Dosage: Dogs- 1 teaspoon per 20-pound of body weight. Puppies- 1 teaspoon per 20-pound. Cats- 1/4 teaspoon per 2-pound. Measures 12-inch length by 6-inch height by 6-inch width.

I have 12 indoor cats. Three of them have differnt skin allergies. Symptoms: Scratching, nibbling, skin-crawling, (jumps like another cat is bothering him!) Another just gets spots of hair loss through out the hind quarters, almost like hot spots... and the other licks and nibbles a lot. I mix 3 Full droppers full of Linatone with a tiny half teaspoon of chicken Gerber baby food. stir like a paste to cover the oil taste they don't like, and dose them nightly when the seasons bring on change and these three get bad reactions. the cats think they are getting a treat. (they are at the cost of baby food jars!) When their symptoms calm and the flare passes. I put off the treatment till evidence bears the truth , I need to treat them again. I shouldn't stop really, just go to twice a week dose really.

One more thing, one cat got a bad ear infection last spring. The Vets (I took him to 2) were of little help. He needed antibiotic & prednisone, but that didn't stop his crying and scratching the ear outside bloody. I decided after a month, that it was his "allergies" and started up the Linatone! It cleared up... with a little help from quarter tab of childs Benedryl to boot! This stuff is the best. I refridgerator it and it keeps for years. I have had my 1st gallon for 5 years and am now buying more. Try it... you'll like it. Give it about 2-3 weeks for you to see a difference. Good for Dogs and Cats. Even the breeder I bought one cat from, thought this was just for Dogs! I had news for her!

Linatone plus almost completely eliminated my dog's shedding. I recommended it to my neighbor and she said it only took 3 days to stop her dog's shedding. Even my dog's vet noticed how nice her coat looked and I never mentioned it to him. This stuff is great.

I have been using this product for the lifespan of 3 Lab/Shepherd mix dogs. They have always had wonderful coats and healthy appetites. The only drawback may be that they grow used to the flavor and if I forget to add it to his dry food, he will let me know by not eating!
