Lamborghini is a fun game if you can get used to it.,

Lamborghini is a fun game if you can get used to the touchy controls slower on-screen action. At first I thought it to be very hard and boring, but after I got the controls down amd got good with a manual gear-box I got hooked. Unlike other games multi-player doesn't slow down, the only thing it could use is better roadside graphics. I would recomend renting it first.

Needs more cars!! They should have made this game with more cars!! You should be able to start with all of the cars and then as you go on you get them upgraded:different levels of greatness!! Controling the cars is kinda hard to do tooo...

It's Lamborghini, and as far as I can remember the first Lamborghini based game that I know of for a console. This game was one of the few titles Nintendo had in their starting line up so it was pretty much play what we offer you. I thought the graphics were pretty good, and the cars...well... they were LAMBORGHINI'S! how can you go wrong? Whens the last time you've seen a countach in a game? Exactly! Automobili Lamborghini had the exclusive line up. That is why you brought this game, that is why you played it. All I can say is that this game was HARD! and I mean Extremely hard. I played with the controller, and a steering wheel, and this game still destroyed all whom chose to play it. For a racing game this one was insanely difficult, and I'll admit it got boring with no one being on the road hardly because the AI was insanely that much better than you (get used to 6th place). I played this game mainly to drive lambo's. So I did just that, and when I needed a better experience I played Gran Turismo. Which when it came out made every other racing game obsolette especially difficult games like this one.

As a kid growing up in the 90's this game was one of my favorites, but now when I finally played it again current day I realized how bad the graphics really were.
Besides the graphic's everything else is pretty good, and handling feels like cruisen CA also for the N64 system. If your looking for a nice racing game, Id skip this one, unless that is your a big fan of lamborghini's although the game in it's self isn't that bad, but there are far better games out there for your N64 system that have better mechanic's and story lines.

Generic racer that could have been better,

I remember playing this for awhile. One of my friends rented it for a few days and that's all it took to beat it.
Lamborghini 64 is a generic racer that could have been better but isn't. Even though it was released in 1997, don't go in with high expectations as there are better racers available. You pick a car and then you choose to go in one of several modes. To unlock additional cars, you have to go through the story mode and beat the 6 tracks this game has to offer. Once you do that, they are available in the multi-player mode where you and 3 other players can race against each other. That's pretty much it. The PROS: If you're into lamborghinis, then you will have some fun with this game. The graphics and music are decent. The sound effects are pretty good. Unlocking the additional cars doesn't take much time so you can use them for the multi-player mode. The CONS: Well it's pretty generic. Nothing here really stands out. It's just an okay game overall. The controls are pretty floaty so you will have to get used to them first. It's a short game so after you finish it, there is nothing left to do. I was underwhelmed after I finished Lamborghini 64 and you will feel the same way too. This game would be most enjoyed by those who are into lamborghinis as it does an okay job of capturing the feel of racing in one of these nice cars. But there are better racers available so unless you really want to get this game (and for a real cheap price), you are better off taking a pass on this game.

I got this racer for the N64 due to the lack of racing games at the time....and this one sure is bland. The graphics are plain and uninspired, the tracks aren't anything special, and the sense of speed is pathetic.
Unless you're a die-hard Lamborghini fan, there are better racing games available.... I dunno, I felt like I was Sunday-driving around the tracks....Oh look, a car to pass....yay. The music in the game is done well and the sounds are pretty good....but not much can save this one from an everage score of 5 out of 10.
