Wooden base with a translucent window, and inside of the base is a night light that shines through. Has a 4-way switch for every lamp and nightlight combination. Takes up to a 40 watt, standard sized bulb (not included) and a 7 watt night light bulb (included). Measures 10 inches x 18 inches high.

Excellent lamp, with the smaller light just what is necessary to change diaper at night without waking the baby up. Great idea to buy it, I stongly recommend. The only small minus is the switch that is a little noisy, but it is fine.
