I bought this because I think it is absolutely the cutest mobile out there. But my daughter doesn't find it very interesting, and when you wind it up, the music plays only for a very short time. Disappointing!

We just bought this for our 7 week old daughter. It matches perfectly with her nursery and looks so cute on her crib. She loves to stare at the moon and stars dancing and loves listening to the music. The only reason we give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the music could play just a little bit longer.

I thought that putting this mobile on my registry would be a great Idea (my daughters coordinating mobile happened to be a cheap, yet great one). Well this mobile is the pits...

You have to put on the little stars and moons yourself, which is annoying when your 9 months pregnant with twins! ANd I still felt one may fall off. The mobile is cute, and my sons enjoy it but its too annyoing for me to doze off and suddenly awaken from yellps that the mobile has stopped! Sometimes the mobile would like skip a beat or something and make a horrific cranking noise, wow!

We bought another one (not room coordinating) and it works much better for them. They love this one more and it gives me a chance to get some sleep too. while they loved it when it was teh only one they knew, now they despize the thing and I only put it up when company is over to match to the decor.

I really advise you to get a battery mobile that plays longer and is probably half the price. I will no longer have a battle between looks and function, just go straight for the function!

If you have a crib that has rounded ends as we do, it is difficult to attach, although we did figure a way. My son likes to look at it, but it has WAY TOO SHORT of a song and spin cycle. We took off the music and motor and reattached with just some string. Now our son is able to watch it spin for a much longer time and he prefers the ocean aquarium music anyway.

My husband and I assembled this mobile in mere minutes:)It fit the crib just fine. Wondering why this mobile recieved only three stars, I read the reviews. I have to disagree with any difficulties listed about the assembly, and perhaps the mobile just happened to fit our crib well. It is adorable!

After reading the negative reviews of this mobile (and seeing its "flimsiness" for myself at a local Babis R Us store), I went in search of other mobiles with a moon/stars motif. I found several, but the cutest one by far is the one that matches the Lambs & Ivy "Twinkle Twinkle" bedding set. It has a white moon and many blue and yellow stars...

Hopefully other people will be able to take advantage of this -- I'm not sure how long it will be offered at this price, but good luck! I was so excited when I found it!

This was the first object that my baby girl really took notice to when we first brought her home. I have it set up on her changing table right now and she smiles when she sees it and moves her legs in anticipation of the music! When she was newborn and not smiling yet, she would look at it during her change and the music relaxed her. We could tell she prefered that changing area over other places in the house because of the mobile. The colors are also really soft, but still the shapes really catch her attention.

I thought this was the cutest thing until I opened it and put it together. For what I paid for it, I thought it was going to be a little more than just cute. If you're going with the Koala Baby Moonbeam set, go without the mobile unless someone buys it for your shower, it's not worth buying for yourself.

Certainly not worth $40. It's cute because it matches my baby's stars/moonbeams nursery theme but it's not the best quality. You have to assemble the hanging moon & stars yourself which is a bit tedious. I have to say, my baby loves looking up at it & enjoys the music. He kicks his legs & coos like crazy. But...the music plays only a short time, which is a pain because I have to keep winding it. A mobile should have music that lasts longer than this!

This mobile's musical/turning feature only lasts a short time. It's not practicle if you have to re-start it every few minutes. Not worth the money.
