5.0 out of 5 stars SO soft and such a cute gift idea for baby
My sister-in-law brought this gift to the hospital for us upon the birth of our first child, a girl. It was such a cute thing to have sitting there in the room as I recovered from a C-section for five days. She bought it because I had gestational diabetes during my pregnancy and she thought it was funny to bring me a "smoothie" which would have been something off limits...

1.0 out of 5 stars Quality control?
This towel came in a cute package but was the same size as all the other baby towels I've ever had. While it certainly was as soft as any other new towel, after it was washed twice the seams ripped. Disappointing. I've had cheaper towels from Carters that lasted me through two other kids.

My sister-in-law brought this gift to the hospital for us upon the birth of our first child, a girl. It was such a cute thing to have sitting there in the room as I recovered from a C-section for five days. She bought it because I had gestational diabetes during my pregnancy and she thought it was funny to bring me a "smoothie" which would have been something off limits while pregnant. I'm sorry to say that we didn't open the smoothie until our daughter turned four months. We had other towels from the baby shower and I liked the packaging of the smoothie and assumed the towel would not be high quality because it was more picked for the color and packaging; boy was I wrong. The towel is one of the best we own now for baths -- it's a super soft and fluffy towel. The strawberry is a wrist rattle and is too cute. I just loved this gift and think I may buy one for my other sister-in-law when we visit them in the hospital for the birth of their second child. Highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars thick, soft and absorbant, but not as thick as koala baby, February 7, 2009
This review is from: Lambs & Ivy Yum Yum Baby Smoothie Hooded Bath Towel Set -Yellow (Baby Product)
I am very happy with this product. I no longer need to use two towels to dry my 4 month old boy. (I was using gerber towels and they are much thinner than this brand.) This towel is 100% cotton. Also, the lambs & ivy towel set looks like a smoothie due to the way it is packaged, which may make a cute gift.
FYI: I was also given a koala baby brand towel made of 100% organic cotton, which is even thicker than the lambs & ivy one.
