Format: Audio CD
This is the kind of album that makes you give up half of your CD collection. Outstanding songs and a voice that gets down deep into your mid-section is delivered in a modern take on a 70's classic vibe. I keep seeing great reviews for this album and I just hope lots of folks grab this up as it is where more music needs to step up to in song quality, musicianship and strength.

I was lucky enough to buy this album at Weinland's CD release show! It hasn't left my CD player since! Standout tracks are: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11! Buy it now. You won't regret it, unless you hate great music.

Although these guys are better live than recorded, I would still highly recommend the CD and am really looking forward to their second release later this year.

BUT, see them live if you have the chance.

Format: Audio CD
I picked this album up after seeing these guys live in Portland (an amazing live show, by the way) because I found myself singing choruses to a handful of their songs days after I'd seen them. I've heard these guys compared to a mix between Eliot Smith and certain Neil Young songs, but for me they're in the playlist with John Mayer, Jack Johnson, and Radiohead, not because they necessarily sound like them (they're sound is definitely different) but because they all force me to listen with emotion. Let's face it, if music can't ellicit an emotional response from its listener then it's not getting the job done. It's also an album that I can listen to all the way through, which is huge for me.
My only criticism is that there are parts of the album that don't sound 100% professionally produced which isn't the band's fault and it actually turned out pretty cool on a few tracks because you feel like you're in the room with the band watching them make their bootleg.
Overall, consider that nit-picking. THIS ALBUM IS AWESOME!
