Before purchasing this item you need to be sure what you are ordering. Product description was detailed and helped in pre-order research of this product. Received item earlier than expected and it was well packed in a cardboard shipper. Since I am familiar with Lamiglass products there was no surprise with quality and finish. As for performance great casting distance for reef fishing in Hawaii. Excellent power when hooked with fish. Rod was a litter softer than expected on initial hookup (for Lamiglass). Well balanced medium light fishing rod. Works great with 8 lb line and 1/2 oz leads. Thinner lighter lines would be ideal for this rod. Overall, Great performance, Good value, Highly recommend.
