The item came quickly with prime shipping. It was packed well in PVC pipe with foam at either end for protection. It is advertised as medium action, but definitely was medium heavy out of the package (I definitely don't mind, although some may have a problem with accuracy of advertisement). It says it handles weight from 3-8oz. It is really lightweight. The connection between the 2 pieces feels plenty durable. I've already received many compliments on it. I also have a cheap Daiwa Beefstick 12' MH/Fast rod to compare this to. It is like night and day. For the price, this is a great rod.

Shipping was super fast, came in nice and properly packed. i had it shipped to India and only sad part was a 35USD+ of duty that I had to pay. very nice rod and used it couple of times and absolutely loved it.
