This DVD takes you step by step through all the basic laminating procedures - whether assembling a postform (pre-fabricated) top or laying up and laminating your own top, its complete and thorough.

ET THE FUNDAMENTALS OF MAKING A LAMINATE COUNTERTOP.
I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND BUT THIS IS ONLY FOR BASIC TOPS NOTHING TOO SERIOUS

This DVD taught me everything I needed to know to build my own countertop! I highly recommend it!

While numerous laminate countertop DVD's have been released as of late, Pro-Active Entertainment's "Kitchen and Bath Laminate Countertops 101" is so far ahead of the pack that it's a wonder they even bother. Douglas Smith takes you through the process of laminating kitchen and bath countertops step by step, and is not only hugely informative, but has such a massive amount of charisma that the DVD can even be enjoyed by someone who has no interest in laminating countertops, kitchen, bathroom or otherwise.

Most instructional DVD's get watched once or twice in order to learn how to do the task at hand, then get shelved, never to be watched again. This one is different, and will be watched and enjoyed at family gatherings, parties and romantic nights in long after every countertop you could possibly be wanting to laminate has been laminated.

My only complaint is that the DVD is a mere 45 minutes long - I do wish that Pro-Active Entertainment had managed to squeeze an extra 15 minutes in there, so that it could be listed as a full length film. Still, nothing is perfect I suppose - but "Kitchen and Bath Laminate Countertops 101" comes as close as anything I've found so far.
