Very attractive lamp at a reasonable price. Don't be caught with out one. I like the mounting bracket and overall looks.

My wife and I live in a rather large ranch style home. The electric usually goes off in the summer and winter at least once every year. Those times are never planned for and you tell yourself that you will not get caught in a spot like this in the future.

I ordered 4 additional oil lamps this winter. Also important is pure lamp oil that is clean and smokess.

Here is another good oil lamp by Lamplight Farms. This is a mounting lamp, supplied with mounting brackets. Hang on a wall in your house (or dungeon)for illumination in times of emergancy or just to save on your electric bills. Very good quality and attractive.Don't forget to stock up on lamp oil too! You never know!

Aside from the obvious rustic look, which is personal to me, the lamp works and works well. It was easy to hang on the wall, and it stays there without any worries. I highly recommend this lamp.

I have actually used my Montana Oil Lamps during storms when power outtages occur, They are convenient especially since they are sconces and not a table top oil lamp,( which might be an issue if you have small children or cats.) While not in use they look very decorative, but for power outtages or just for soft lighting they are perfect. Functional and pretty. Obviously, I have more than one and plan to eventually get one for each room in the house. Easy to maintain and use.

Looks nice, works as expected for emergency lighting. Very little soot with clean, pure lamp oil. Plenty of light to read by when close.

We've lost power for days at a time, though we've not yet had this lit for more than a few hours in the evenings. If you're buying for emergency use, I'd get some extra 3/4" wicks and plenty of oil. Doesn't have a cheap feel, so hopefully it'll last a good, long time.

We got this based on looks and other reviews and have absolutely no regrets.
This is a nice lamp, well worth the money. It came exceedingly well packed in a lot of
peanuts, absolutely no damage.
It lights up well, and looks great in our living room, and kind of casts a pattern from
the animal shape cutouts in the shade..kinda cool!
This is a good quality lamp, and gets my approval for sure.

I was very happy with the lamps until I saw an ad at Bi-Mart for the same lamps, same quality for $9.99. I paid twice that through Amazon. Nothing wrong with the lamps just with the care I took in researching cost. Got too anxious to have them.

We ordered four of these lamps to try out and were satisfied that they will fullfill there purpose just fine. Being able to hang these on the wall and remove for transport when needed is the key to their functionality. They are also very well made and look very charming in our eclectic decor. All four were in perfect condition and packed very well. We will be ordering more so we can have one in every room!

I purchased 8 of them for mood lighting in a Pavilion/Smoke house that I recently built. They look great and will be easy to bring in when the weather gets bad.

Just ordered these two weeks ago to help spruce up my new place, and add a little light should the power go out. Must say, I am VERY impressed with the build quality of these lamps.

I've had others from different companies that would literally come apart in my hands when trying to unscrew the lamp from the base. These are very well crafted and produce beautiful light.

Must for everyone in a rustic home.
