On our block my husband is "king of the grill," and this barbecue turner is his scepter. He gestures with it, wraps on the dinner bell with it, best of all he cooks the very best burgers with it.

The long 14" handle keeps him away from the fire and any angry grease salvos, yet the handle is not so long that it isn't easy to manipulate just as he wishes.

On very special occasions when we have steak this turner is man enough to handle a 16 oz. sirloin with no problem at all.

We're very pleased with our LamsonSharp turner and recommend it to all.

I got this for my husband for Christmas. Just in time for him to grill up our Christmas Filet Mignon. He thought it was great. After having had spatulas with handles that were way too long and spatula beds that were somewhat lacking, this was perfect. The shorter handle provides for more control, while the bed still gives you plenty of room for bigger pieces of grilling tastiness. His only bad comment about it was that the bed, while not flexible like a fish turner, is not rigid enough to turn over the potato packets he had made. Seeing as how they are several pounds each, I think he'll be fine with having two of these bad boys to take care of it. :)
