5.0 out of 5 stars should be 6 stars
I've tried them all. Plastics, woods, and metals. This small, light weight unit is awesome. The edge is sharp and the metal thin and flexible. The result is an amazingly functional product which I've had over 6 months and still looks new.

2.0 out of 5 stars Nice but flawed
This is a very nice spatula with one serious drawback. I left it lying on the stove, with the oven turned on to 250 degrees, and all the plastic melted away from the metal frame and lay in a black puddle on the stove top! This hasn't ever happened to me with a utensil before. Just so you know, if you buy this the handle needs special care. Bummer.

An excellent product. Many, many uses. Has retained it's color and flexibility after multiple washing in the dishwasher. My son is also requesting this turner. Well worth the money.

I have been looking for one of these slotted turners everywhere, but never thought to look on Amazon.com. I happened to be shopping on Amazon's website and saw it. It came in the mail two days later. I tried it that very night and was so happy. The shape makes all the difference when cooking fish. I highly recommend it

5.0 out of 5 stars Professional Quality, October 22, 2007

I am a Professional Chef and this is not the first L/S fish spatula I have owned. The full tang handle and flexability make indespensable to me. The most delecate items can be plated with this spatula. I have even used it for poached eggs. My 2 hands are never empty with this spatula and my favorite pair of tongs! This is a top quality professional spatula.

This product makes life easier in the kitchen. Traditionally it is a fish turner, but I use it for getting anything dense out of a pan. The end of it is angled to facilitate removal, while it is very thin and sharp enough to cut a crust from the pan. The piece is also very flexible which helps with that first piece. All of these features are essential to the wide variety of use possible. I consider this a multi-tasker that will always have a place in my kitchen. With this one you can forget the thick, firm spatulas, except for the BBQ.

I found out after the fact that this was recommend by Burt Wolf in the New Cooks Catalogue. They gave it a very favorable review, but I would say that they underrated it. That is how much I like it.

I recommend this piece.

LamsonSharp¿ 3" x 6" Chef¿s Slotted Turner, right-hand

I have found a tool that will begin my collection. I recycled all the inferior tools I had, and started this great assortment from Lamson. I also found out all the Lamson tools are made in the USA. That is GREAT!

They have a host of tools with many uses, all the same 3-rivet design. I'm in a buying mood.

Cheers
Brian

I've had and used this slotted turnerLamsonSharp¿ 3" x 6" Chef¿s Slotted Turner, right-hand for several weeks. Both my husband and I prefer this turner over our others because of its flexibility in getting under foods such as thin pancakes cooked in a skillet and burgers on the grill.

I purchased two of these slotted turners...they are in the top 5 kitchen tools we use while cooking. Turning fried foods, eggs, fish and any other meats is a snap. Much better than any 'spatula' I've ever had!

4.0 out of 5 stars almost perfect ..., February 23, 2007

this is a great tool for turning just about anything; the company even makes a "leftie" version, with the spatula front angled in the opposite direction. however, an earlier reviewer reported using it on a nonstick pan without any problems. my teflon-challenged husband used it on my favorite nonstick skillet and turned it into a scratched up, unsalvageable mess. also, i left the handle leaning on the side of a hot skillet for around a minute, and the handle now has a dent in it. otherwise, i am very happy with it.
