Four refills shown (Dec '11) in the photo suggest that 4 refills get delivered, but only 2 are. Yes, it is written 2-pack in the title, but the mind rationalizes to explain the photo. They write fine. Alas, the price of $3.40 per tiny refill 67 mm long makes it an expensive writing. I won't order again.

Lamy tripen delivers an excellent quality writing but at a high price. It is too expensive for daily use. Unfortunately, once you get used to the comfort and practicality of having pen, mechanical pencil and marker in one piece, you are trapped with the refill.

If you are considering the tripen for sporadic use, it is a great choice, but if you intend to use it on a daily basis, like me in college, prepare to be a regular.
