I bought one of four years ago, and promptly wish I had bought two!! They are so much fun!! My children learned a lot about physics, water pressure, and spent many, many, MANY hours playing with the Rocket. Even Dad played with it nightly!! The Rocket and Launcher parts lasted three years, which I was very impressed with. We have had so much fun with this sprinkler, that this time I am buying three for myself and one for my brother in law!!

This is a sprinkler toy, and requires adult supervision.
after setting it up, SLOWLY apply power and the rocket will hover up to a desired height.
It will gather a lot of attention.
Yes, kids will be kids and want to control it.
Yes, young kids will go from 0 to 10 and "Launch" the rocket up into the sky.
If you can't handle that then you should never leave your home.

We bought this as a gift for our son when he turned 2. He loves it. The product works as described, and it's really neat to see it work. (I have to be sure I don't hog it for myself to play with!) My son likes to explore how it works -- playing with the control panel to vary the water pressure, repeatedly launching the rocket. So not only is it lots of fun for him, but he's learning all about how things work.

My son LOVED this sprinkler, but it only lasted us really one summer, which was fine at the time, I bought it at WalMart for $10! However, you cannot find it anymore, and the price they're asking for them both here and eBay is ridiculous. Folks, it's plastic and foam. The foam fins and top were torn up within a few weeks, and one bad landing made the plastic body crack. Also, the control handle broke within about 1 month, and the tube gets all twisted so it's hard to keep anchored.
I guess it was definitely worth a summer of fun for $10......but the price Amazon & eBay sellers want for it is borderline criminal.

This toy is unbelieveable fun the way it floats 30 feet up in the air like magic. It is easy to use, easy to set up, and inexpensive. This is an awesome toy and quite honestly fun for all ages from little kids to adults. When I saw this toy I could not wait to buy it!

This is a great product. It is a blast!! Our little girl loves the rainforest it creates while it's in the air. Our hose came all bent up from China. You have to make sure the water streams out perfectly to get the rocket to stay on. If it doesn't line up the water sprays as opposed to streams and the rocket won't hold on. We ended up mounting the base on something a few inches higher so the water flows better. The fins?? Glue them on with 2 part epoxy. No more problems. Make sure the base in a very level surface or it won't stay on. Not being able to find it in stores?? Yup. We found 2 and bought them both and haven't seen another one. Worth $40-50 on eBay, 100% if it was the kids favorite toy. Endless sprinkler fun that brings in different elements since you can control the launch the rocket and the spray.

At any age kids will have a ball with this rocket, the controller is a lever - push forward for more pressure = rocket goes higher, push toward you and there is less pressure and the rocket goes lower, water off and the rocket crashes to the ground (to the thrill of the kiddies!) even a small child can maneuver it. My son received this as a gift for his birthday years ago and he and his friends still ask for it when they come by (he is now 10). I will take away one small star in "durable" because the black foam pieces that attach to the side tend to fall off and are then easily lost (at least at my house!) I replaced it last year, had a hard time finding it, amazon didn't have it in stock and then, lo & behold, I was at Walgreens buying toothpaste and I saw ONE in the seasonal aisle I snatched it up, I only paid $10 for it, $35 seems like a rip-off, but it is all kinds of fun. YOUR KIDS WILL LOVE THIS SPRINKLER, HOURS OF FUN AT ANY AGE.

What a fun toy! We've had ours for three years and love it. In fact, we've purchased a few for birthday gifts. Place it on a flat/level part of the yard and watch the kids enjoy! They'll love playing with this durable toy for hours.
As with anything using pressurized water, there are inherent dangers. Be a responsible adult and explain the rules and instructions to make sure the kids are safe and completely understand not to put their face in the full-blast stream. (DUH)
Even adults want to give this thing a try. Wahoo!!! Summer is back.

I bought this toy locally, and then went back and bought 3 more to give away. Mine is on its second year of year round outside play! It is sturdy, the kids can put fins and cone back on themselves at age 3. They learn and wear themselves out. Good clean fun. I want to buy about 5 more... anyone know where I can find them??

Your kids will love this toy. They will play with it for hours. You will have to make them stop. Great toy. Fun and inexpensive. (Tip: move the rocket location every day or the kids will stomp your yard into a mud hole.) Overall well worth the money!
