Just as good as "name brand",
Honestly, I don't like having to stick myself at all. I'm not going to say, "you don't feel a thing," because that just isn't true. What I can say is that these work just as well as the more expensive name brand ones like the LifeScan product, but are much less expensive.

I have used about 200 of these lancets along with the regular Bayer lancets so I could do a basic side-by-side comparison. These work very well. Their only draw back is the fact that the needle is very flimsy. I bent 3 or 4 getting used to pulling the protective cap off with a straight pull. This fact is the only reason I gave these lancets a rating of 4 instead of a 5. At about 1/3 the cost, the extra care needed to prep them for use is a minor problem. I like them and will definitely reorder them again.
