About the Author

Deborah J. Taranto is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Brooklyn. After receiving her B.S. degree from SUNY @ Potsdam, she worked for several years as an account executive at a top ten Public Relations firm in New York. She is married and has three children. While raising her three children she earned a M.S. degree from Wagner College, Staten Island and began teaching English at local private high schools on Staten Island. Presently she is teaching English literature at St. John's University while finishing her second book. She continues to reside on Staten Island with her family.
