Philip Coppens' meticulous research and inspired questing once again leads us quickly to the heart of exciting new concepts and considerations of the past. Though the evidence has lain before us for millennia plain sight is often the most enigmatic hiding place of all. Land of the Gods is welcome confirmation for those of us who have increasingly suspected that Edinburgh, Lothian and the land surrounding has long been viewed in sacred terms. The treasure is at our feet.

I've read many of Filip's books and they are always packed with info and well researched. This one is all that and includes his personal experience on the landscape. If you haven't been there and are new to the subject matter, it will be difficult and tedious at times to read. Was it Camelot? I am not convinced, but something was definitely going on there. Sadly, Filip has crossed over and his quests will no longer be presented in print. Walk on, Filip!

The perfect book to read before exploring Scotland! I read this book before I went to Scotland this past June. It was helpful in seeking out the information and clarity and perspective as I was taking in all the Sacred Sites of Scotland!
