He Thought She Would Be a Man, Boy Was He Ever Wrong, June 28, 2010
This review is from: Land of Ice and Fire (Paperback)
When Bjorn Einarsson of Bjorn Einarsson Travel advertised for a tour guide to take clients on rugged excursions in Iceland, he'd thought he was getting a man. After all the name on the application said Alex Constantine. How could he know that Alex was short for Alexandra, not Alexander.
Alex has spent several years of her youth in Iceland and she speaks the language. So she is madder than a hatter when the handsome Bjorn won't give her a chance. But then fate steps in and he is forced to hire her, at least on a trial basis.
So, though they are at odds, there is that old devil attraction building between them and one can't help but wonder if their heat will melt some of that ice. Brrr, just thinking of the frozen north gives me the shivers, but you won't be shivering if you give this novel that was written over a quarter century ago a try. You'll just love it. I know you will, because I did.
