If you enjoy getting most of your news (and views) from the New York Times, you probably will not enjoy this book. Save your money. On the other hand, if your heros have always been cowboys, you should be entertained by this novel. Although this book has a slow start, if you stick with it through chapter 5 you will uncover a nice gem. I can definitely see movie material here...

Loved this book. Well- written and interesting story line woven into historical facts about Texas and American history during the 1800s time period. A good, fast read.
