I purchased three of these. The size small is perfect for my kids. They weigh 36-40 pounds. It keeps them afloat, but they can still use their arms and legs to learn the proper swimming form. It's also super easy to put on and take off. I wouldn't be without this product! It took awhile (and a lot of money) to find the best thing for swimming with small children, but this is definitely the best!
