An OK read
I bought this book for the high reviews and price, but it was not what I was expecting. Its a good ready, but thought it was going to focus more on writing legal descriptions.

Wattles' knowledge of the subject is without equal. His approach to describing real property has set a standard for excellence. His writing style is clear and concise as well as refreshingly brief. I have relied on his 10th Edition since it was first published and continue to recommend it to all surveyors who are new to writing legal descriptions as well as those in practice who are called upon to write a description for a particular area of their practice they may not have previously encountered. I recommend this book to all practicing Land Surveyors, Attorneys and Title professionals. If this is not in your professional library, it should be.

This is a great book on showing the recommended terminology, phrases and wording for writing legal descriptions. It is very easy to use and well formatted. I have used this book for over 30 years and find its as applicable today as it was 30 years ago.
