Took it on a long trip and it followed everything almost perfectly. Mounted it under the passenger seat and it recorded with no problem, but I did find that there were some gaps while on the interstate...not sure if they were the fault of the maps or the tracking key but it wasn't significant enough to worry about. After 4000 miles and about one month of being turned on it's still on original batteries (not lithium).
I like it.

I had pretty good results using this device. Works as described. Was worried about it falling off but hasn't happened yet. I put it in a zip lock bag when mounting it to the exterior of the car so mud puddles and such don't put an end to the device.
Not always the most accurate but you get the general idea what, where and how long... Note this is a logger, you place it on the vehicle and eventually remove it to see the results.

I like this devise, very accurate, small, and user friendly, but there is two things you should be aware of,
First the magnet which attached on the battery cover is very strong so you should remove the gps very carefully when attached to metal, or it will break easily like what happen to me, Second the devise does not have a built in software, so you should download the software each time you would like to hock in deferent computer

Needs Improving,
This review is from: LandAirSea GPS Tracking Key Pro (Electronics)
Have been using this device for several months now for keeping track of vehicle.Does a halfway decent job of tracking, although it is confusing when the information shows the 'ant' vehicle jerking and spinning for whatever reason. Also, vehicle is often several miles down the road before it starts tracking. Lowest ranks for durability. Has a nice, strong magnet for holding. Unfortunately, it is secured to the tracker so poorly that upon removal it disconnected and is still attached to underside of vehicle seat. Looks like three drops of black adhesive is all that kept it attached. Cannot remove magnet by hand as it is that small and strong. Upon opening the battery door to replace batteries the second time, the hinge for the door broke. At this point, I have fashioned a device with duct tape keep it securely in place in the vehicle and now have to tape the battery door onto the device to keep batteries in place. No, I am not rough with this device. It is just that fragile. It would probably shatter if I would happen to drop it. I would not recommend paying more than $50 for. Definitely overpriced at $200.

This is the second one of these I've purchased, this one being the newer model. It has an on/off switch, something the older model lacked, the batteries are easy to change (and last well) and it's sensitive enough to put nearly anywhere there is not really heavy shielding. It's easy to adjust settings (using a computer connection)and can be downloaded showing either a provided street map or Google Earth. My only complaint is that the manufacturer/distributor should use a newer version street map or provide access to a compatible update. My use for this is to track my own routes and provide that information to family members should it become necessary (they know where the unit is mounted). If you have teenaged drivers this is a wonderful tattle tale since it gives all the driving information you could want - route, speed, stops, duration and location of stops, maximum speed and where it occurred and so on. And it's instantly moveable from one vehicle to another.

The LandAirSea GPS Tracking Key Pro is a winner! I am a small businessman with a small fleet of delivery trucks. The TKP puts my mind at ease when it comes to knowing definitively that my drivers are driving safely, honestly and efficiently. The key positive point of this unit: TOTALLY EASY TO USE! Just plug it into your computer, hit a button to download the raw data, and then hit a button to say whether you want to see the results on a streetmap, a Google Earth view, or a text report. No manual conversion to different file formats, no looking for freeware on the web, etc. The supplied viewer presents the data day by day, the text report automatically lists each stop and how long was spent there. Any speeds faster or slower than thresholds you set are highlighted in the map, so you can see where speeding occurs or where traffic was encountered right away. In other words, this application shields you from having to sift through a boatload of data - a quick visual scan and you can see right away what you need to know.
The unit is small, easy to place on a dashboard, has good battery life. It's more expensive than others, but the efficiency at which you can rapidly get the data results you need pays for the added cost in a week! I'm going all in - I'm buying one for every truck in the fleet.

Only Worked Two Times,

After I first used this device I thought it was quite amazing. I tried it out riding inside my pickup on a 64 mile round trip journey and it tracked perfectly, even showing whether I was in the north or south bound lanes on the interstate. It also recorded every stop. I especially like the Google Earth interface. Then I used it on a 280 mile trip with equally good results. After that I put it away in a desk drawer for a few months. When I wanted to use it again, it would not track. The route from the previous 280 mile trip was still loaded and could still be downloaded to my computer. I thought perhaps the memory was full, so I deleted that trip, but still it would not record. Then I noticed that the blinking green LED that is supposed to indicate that it is receiving a GPS signal was not working. I tried replacing the batteries but that did not help. So I contacted LandAirSea. Their response was that I had gotten it wet, which never happened. It was working before it was stored in a desk drawer and not working when it was removed from the drawer. To make such a statement without any further questions or actually inspecting the device told me that LandAirSea had no interest in providing any support or any further troubleshooting assistance. So I'll trash it as it's no longer of any use after only two trips and replace it with a something else, but the replacement definitely won't be a LandAirSea.

This thing is awesome,

This thing is amazing. I stuck it under the seat of my car to see how it works...it does! Shows a track of your position generally within about 10 feet. Every motion of the car, how fast going, every stop is logged, when, where, for how long. If you want to see if someone is cheating, this is absolutly perfect. No way to deny where the car was at every second of the day. Included software is easy to use and includes street maps. Optionally, you can overlay the track on Google Earth images. Awesome.

but getting it to do so has been a gigantic pain in the neck. Add the difficulty in getting tech support from the manufacturer and I am now seeking another solution.
