On this recording Jan Van Landeghem shows a touch of delicacy combined with superb virtuoso. The instrument itself, a recent build, is well suited for Baroque music. The stop selection may occasionally be a bit 'heavy' but this is merely a matter of personal taste, and most of the time Van Landeghem stays within a rather traditional sound frame. For a good and varied sample of mostly German organ music this is an excellent buy!
