I got this smoker cover about 5 months ago when the one I had previously fell apart and blew away in our Utah spring storms. I looked long and hard and even thought of making my own but then I found this Landmann Smoker Cover. The reviews looked decent and the price sealed the deal. After months of rain, snow, summer heat, and everything else the nuts climate in Utah could deliver the cover is holding up like a champion. I would recommend it to my friends if any of them had smokers, but they don't... so I am getting on here to let everyone else know.

Pros: 1) The zipper is super convenient in getting the thing on and off and isn't poor quality. 2) The little velcro straps keep the cover on through just about any weather. 3) The material is durable and has lasted through a great deal of tough weather without signs of deterioration I expected for the price, in fact there are no signs of deterioration - just dirt smudges. 4) Fits my landmann smoker perfectly.

Cons: The stitching has held up very nicely, but when I look closely I just worry a little that it will be the first thing to go... but it hasn't yet and that is a testament to the great value of this product. I would just advise not being careless in ripping it on or off like you are hulk.

Received on time. The producer's website shows out of stock, so it was nice to find one. Great price. Better quality than I expected. Fits like a glove. Time will tell if it holds up more than a few years, but so far so great.

I loved to smoke using charcoal, but that can be a chore.
I purchased this smoker last year and use it almost excursively now when I smoke. Works well, however I still think charcoal taste a little bit better. But, this is much less of a hassle., and works quite well.

The only drawbacks back are:
Upon arrival the door was a little bit a ajar. However, it does shut, just a little off. I don't think it matters too much in the smoking process. Finally, making minor adjustments on the heat can be tricking, just moving the adjustment dial a hair can mean the difference of 20 degrees or more. Needs a little trial and error.

Overall, for the price, it can't be beat.

Go with the barrel type smoke. The open vent at the bottom makes it hard to control your temp. Had to super-glue the thermometer in place to keep it from falling off. The handle is a lil hard to work at times. It's okay, but I think that the barrel type would have been better!!!
