My husband and I purchased this item to replace our hand-me-down Weber Kettle. We hemmed and hawed over the price for a while but it just looked too unique to pass up. We were a bit worried when the delivery got messed up. Amazon doesn't ship the item through FedEx or UPS. The item is shipped from the manufacturer through their delivery system of choice. We knew this when we purchased it but didn't expect the delivery company to lose our confirmation and thus be several days late. Once it arrived though, we were too pleased to care about the wait. I will give a tip: be sure to spray the grill with a high heat paint like Rustoleum Grill Paint before you put it together. It'll be less of a headache later on and you'll have every nook and cranny covered. It's very tempting to put it together right away and use it but trust me on this, the manufacturer's paint flakes right off of the grating after the first use. As a grill, this thing is awesome. We had a huge cookout for Memorial Day and fit all this on there at the same time: three racks of ribs, half a dozen burgers, a dozen bratwurst sausages, a steamer pot for corn on the cob, a pot of beans on the swing arm, buns on the swing grate, AND two chickens on the rotisserie! 25 people fed without having to cook in shifts. Plus, lifting the grate off at the end of the night and having a fire pit for everyone to gather around was the perfect ending to the event. This grill was the talk of the group even weeks after! Now, everyone wants to have cookouts at our place just to see this thing in action again!

The paint flaking an the delivery issue were the reason for the 4 star rating; but, honestly, it really is worth buying if you like to entertain outdoors. If you need a new grill and want a fire pit, do yourself a favor and buy this.

This is more than just a grill! It sits lower to the ground than an average grill and makes a perfect wood burning fire bowl. The rotisserie racks are easy to mount and dismount when needed. The swing in smaller grill is perfect for cooking smaller meals. The real reason I chose this is to accommodate my 36" Paella pan. It is a perfect size and the height of the grill is perfect for sitting alongside while the paella shovel does it's slow and tantalizing work. One of my best summer buys!
