The ring couldn't be more simple to assemble. The cooking grate accessory is more than I expected. We cook over this with a cast iron dutch oven and it rocks! We've used this a number of times since purchasing. This has made our backyard into a place that friends love hanging out
!

This Firepit/Barbie combo is more than satisfying. I love having get togethers where everyone surrounds the fire and this makes it possible. Don't take the chance and catch some brush or even clothes on fire. This pit keeps the blaze confined and safe. Its lasted a long time for me now and is holding up quite nicely. It storag's even better than I thought, it folds down to where I can put it almost anywhere. Its large and spacious but never too big. It's an amazing and it's wonderful.

I got it for my husbands birthday, and he LOVES it!! It came with a cooking grill and looks great! His whole family came over and sat by it with us for two whole hours! Most time we've spent together (outside) in a while!

The Big Sky Fire Ring is great! I got it for my husband for Christmas. At first I thought it may be too small but it's not. The high sides with the decorative cut outs are great! It's very heavy and very well built. The grill has a really good ceramic coating on it that I'm sure will last a long time.

This fire pit is everything that is promised by this manufacturer. Purchased in Dec. 2010 and have used it many times. Very good quality and works extremely well on my concrete patio for cookouts and small warming fires at night. Excellent grill top for cooking. Original order had some small parts missing from the shipment, but were immediately shipped to make it right. Totally recommend this well made product especially from Amazon.

I would make sure whoever delivers the product makes sure to protect it better. While the ring is great and works fine, the grill you see in the picture was broken into several pieces during delivery.

I was looking for a centerpiece for my patio, and this fire ring fits the bill perfectly. When I got the parcel, I was surprised at how heavy the thing is - this fire pit is definitely constructed for the long haul. You will never need to be worried about the sides warping due to the heat of the fire. The grate is also heavy-duty, and has a smooth porcelain enamel surface. I haven't tried cooking on it yet, so I can't speak to the performance in that area. One other reviewer mentioned cooking with a cast iron dutch oven on the grate, and that sounds like a perfect idea. The grate is certainly substantial enough to support the weight of a dutch oven.

The firepit was quickly and easily assembled. I have it sitting on a hidden base of bricks and sand, to make sure it is level and stable.

The fire ring was a big hit at a recent family gathering. Even in the summers, it gets quite cool in the evening here, and instead of retreating to the house when the temperature dropped, we extended our outdoor enjoyment to midnight. The heat radiated nicely from the heavy metal sides. I purchased a Open Fire Pop Popcorn Popper for the occasion, and that was a big hit too.

I wholeheartedly recommend this product with no reservations whatsoever. See photos under product images.

This thing is Great! I was looking for a simple fire ring when I found this one. I'm please I did. Not only are the cut outs appealing they functional as well they let air in making a great fire. The assembly is very simple so don't worry about that. I just bought another one for my brother.
Only one regret I love the wildlife I wish I would have known about the other design with the deer I would have bought that one.

This item gives you the feeling of having the country side in your backyard! The meet kooks just perfectly! It is a perfect design!

Looks like a good fire ring but the bolts did not come with the ring. Called and the Co. and they sent them to me but have not got the ring put together yet.
