This review is from: Landmarks - a Community history of the Council Idaho Area (Perfect Paperback)
This book is a must read for anyone interested in social history. You'll feel you were there in the wilds of Idaho at the pro-birth of a community, its conception and birth. You'll feel what those settlers must have felt, risking health and life itself to make their community grow and thrive against all odds.

This review is from: Landmarks - a Community history of the Council Idaho Area (Perfect Paperback)
This is a very thorough, well-done and extensive history of the Council, Idaho area. It includes features about the townsfolk, their notorious visitors, life in the wilderness of the Idaho pioneers, and the impact the P&IN railroad had on the area. Tons of authentic pictures and truly interesting stories.
