Shame on Pearl --Again!, October 27, 2002

This would be five stars-plus, were it not for the fact that
everything on it EXCEPT the Concerto is already available on
other Pearl CD's of Landowska! In my view this is inexcusable:
there is SO MUCH that has not yet been issued, why duplicate,
especially material already in the company's own catalogue.
This might better have been titled "Landowska Rarities", and have
given us the Concerto, the LP of Landowska playing for Paderewski
and otherwise unissued (on CD) material.
That said, Bach is Bach and Landowska is Landowska; no further
recommendation is necessary.
