The list author says: "This is a list of books and films used in the Landscape Architecture Theory & Criticism class at the University of Colorado Denver in Spring 2008 taught by Anthony Mazzeo. I was the teaching assistant for the class during Spring Term 2007 and Spring Term 2008 . The list below is not all-inclusive of reading material used in the course, since it does not include various articles from Landscape Journal and other publications not available on Amazon.
The films are used throughout the course in conjunction with the readings to spur discussions and insight into the nature of landscape architecture theory and practice.
The primary text used in the course is James Corner's Recovering Landscape: Essays in Contemporary Landscape Theory.
