I've had this album in vinyl since it came out, roughly 20 years ago. It's one of Art Pepper's strongest live recordings (from Japan) from the latter part of his career. Most memorable for me are "Over the Rainbow," and the title cut, the driving "Landscape." Great stuff! I highly recommend it.

The coolest of the cool. Art Pepper's tortured life is a sad tale but his playing on this record is other worldly. His rendition of "Over the Rainbow" may be my favorite version of all time. I highly recommend this record. (My humble opinion, which accounts for little in the scheme of things...)
