This is one of the best watercolor painting instructional books out there. I've been painting watercolors for over 20 years. This a great go to book.

This classic by one of the greats at transparent watercolor painting is chuck full of beautiful paintings and sound painting advise. A few years ago I let my daughter sell this book to whittle down my library to a manageable size! I was sorry afterward and recently re-bought it.

Very helpful for the seriously-dedicated student of watercolor medium.

Highest recommendation. Worthy of repeated readings and careful study.

Now that i'm learning Chinese painting, i visited the library to browse through some books in this field. i found Landscape Painting in Watercolor and i borrowed it with a number of other books. the painitng and the artist's palette and color choice is amazing. i had to buy the book to keep that inspiration handy. i highly recommend it.

Received in record time and exactly the shape described. Great book. One of his earlier works with excellent information.
