A good landscape book for beginners,

This is a nice step by step for beginning landscape painters. There are ten step by step demonstrations, each with multiple color images. All are fairly simple, with the one shown on the cover being the most complex, and each discusses colors used. There are also three pages (4 color images each) illustrating tree, sky and land, and water color for differing outdoor conditions.
Demonstrations are 1) Deciduous Trees 2) Evergreens 3) Meadow 4) Hills 5) Mountains 6) Clouds 7) Sunset 8) Stream 9) Snow and Ice 10) Pond This book has been re-printed in a revised and edited version by Dover - Oil Landscapes Step by Step by Wendon Blake. The revised version, available new from Amazon, does not have the demonstrations of Hills, Stream, or Snow and Ice |
