5.0 out of 5 stars Great Examples Of Real Business Plans
Great collection of real lawn care business plans to compare and contrast your business plan to. It will help you consider items and expenses that might normally creep up on a new business owner and sink them.

If you fail to plan, you plan to fail. This book is a great guide to help get you started and create your own plan.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't waste your money!
Don't waste your money on this book. It is basically people who are starting out in the lawn care business or who plan to start in a lawn care business stating what they think they will need to do. Every bit of the information and guidance that is in this book would fit onto one sheet of paper. This book has no redeeming value whatsoever.

Don't waste your money on this book. It is basically people who are starting out in the lawn care business or who plan to start in a lawn care business stating what they think they will need to do. Every bit of the information and guidance that is in this book would fit onto one sheet of paper. This book has no redeeming value whatsoever.
There are lots of great books on how to write a business plan. This isn't one of them. There is not one single actual business plan in the book. What it calls business plans would get you laughed at by anyone who has ever seen an actual business plan. Save your money.

To go further, there are several places in the book where the wrong word is used. One of the people uses the word "are" when it is obvious they mean to use the word "our". There are quite a few instances where the author means to use the word "their" but instead uses the word "there".

If you are really serious about starting a business (lawn care or otherwise) grab the book From Idea to Success: The Dartmouth Entrepreneurial Network Guide for Start-Ups. Once you read it purchase Business Plan Pro 15th Anniversary Edition and read the books bundled in it BEFORE you write your business plan.

Your version of Business Plan Pro might have hard copies of the books but you may have to look in the resources folder on the CD.
Read The Art of the Start then Hurdle The Book on Business Planning. Then read the the Plan-As-You-Business Plan. Once you have read these books begin to work with the software and write your business plan.

1.0 out of 5 stars NOT A START UP GUIDE!!!!, January 29, 2009
This review is from: The Landscaping And Lawn Care Business Plan Startup Guide.: A Step By Step Guide On How To Make A Landscape Or Lawn Care Business Plan With Real Life Examples. (Paperback)
I bought this product followed with no low balling. And both of them were junk. This is NOT A START UP GUIDE!!! This book was written by someone who knows about marketing their product(so youll buy it!!) , and does not care about helping the customer. He pretty much takes quotes from conversations hes had with people starting there business and prints the prints the conversation. From my business experience these people dont know what their doing either and to follow what they did would be crazy. The price ranges they use for equipment and the goals they set are far from realistic and steve low must have low ball standards to brand this with his name. This and dont lowball by steve low are not worth the money or the time. If your looking for a start up help look else where.
