If you aleady have the album "Home" (and shame on you if you don't!), this single is the perfect way to enjoy the Chicks even more. Canada also has a version of this single. It includes 2 tracks: the album version of "Landslide" and the "Sheryl Crow Remix." Although the "Sheryl Crow Remix" does appear on the newly re-packaged "Home," getting this single, or the Canadian version of this single, would probably make more sense than buying the entire album again (if you aleady bought the standard version of "Home"). The "Sheryl Crow Remix" does not, in any way, take away from the original album version. If anything, I think Sheryl has made the song even better! I think it's much more radio-friendly than the album version currently on the air waves. Chicks Rule!

This is the CD single of the Dixie Chicks' latest single LANDSLIDE. This is their cover of the classic Stevie Nicks penned song. They truly bring it to their own, giving it a nice bluegrass flair and style. The harmonies are excellent, and the song has so much meaning. On this single you get the album version of the song which is also found on their 2002 album HOME, as well you get the Sheryl Crow Remix of the song which makes it more contemporary (still an excellent remix). As well you get their version of You Can't Hurry Love, which was originally done by Diana Ross & The Supremes, another excellent cover song. A final bonus is the multimedia video for Long Time Gone. Overall this is a must for Dixie Chicks fans, you can't go wrong here.

Produced by music superstar Sheryl Crow, "Landslide" by the Dixie Chicks is simply a beautiful cover of a classic Fleetwood Mac classic. On this maxi-single, two covers of the song (the country & pop versions) are included, and regardless if your're not a fan of country music, the song is definitely a crossover hit that has allowed the Dixie Chicks to become a much more recognizable household name. Despite the negative backlash that the group has received for their public opinions of contemporary events going in our world, this should not be a reason for anyone not to buy this single. If you enjoy the harmonious music of Jewel, than this single is for you.
