I got this for my nephew for Christmas and it's Feb. in Chicago so I'm not sure how well it actually works, but it appears of way higher quality than other ramps I've seen,as well as the curve of the ramp is excellent! I LOVE the idea of the system you can attach and build with these ramps. The possibilities are endless!

I am glad I spent the extra money for a heavy duty ramp. I had debated on getting a cheeper version that were abundant before Christmas. But now I am glad I didn't, they are worth the price. My sons (6 & 8) ride their bikes, scooters, and skateboards over these. I think that they will last for years to come. (I should admitt that I have never actually seen the cheep ones. But they look flimsy and the reviews were troublesome.)

The only negative is that they are heavy but that is to be expected with a heavy duty ramp. My husband has no trouble moving 3 pieces attached together out of the center of the drive way. However, it is a struggle for me to do so; granted not so much that I take the time to take them apart before moving them. Also, there would be no way my children could move them.

we got this ramp set for our 4, 9, and 11 year old boys for christmas because we know how much they love to ride bikes and visit the BMX bike park we have here in our city. they set up these ramps on christmas morning and have used them EVERY SINGLE DAY since! never has a christmas gift gotten so much playtime. it is now a permanent fixture in our backyard and can be used at anytime (before school, after school, late at night...) the kids ride their bikes, scooters, rip stick, and even remote control car over these ramps. it is also enjoyed by all of the neighbor kids as well. we hope the durability of this product will be long lasting. we plan to buy more of these same ramps and decks to add to our backyard bike park.

The ramps seem very durable and easy to manuver. They work great and my boys use their bikes and scooters on them all the time. No problems here and the price was reasonable.

The Land Wave ramps came today and my 13 year old son opened the box. He first set them up in an "A" frame then connected them side by side. After about 20 minutes of hard skating I asked him, "How are the new ramps?" He said 3 words. BEAST! Thanks dad!

We have a pair of the cheapies and they work OK. The quality and strength of the plastic of the Land Wave set is very impressive for the price.

The fact that they lock together makes them even better. I read a review that complained that the ramps were hard to get apart. In my view, they are hard to get apart by design. The fit must be snug because they must be sturdy when connected. If they came apart easy, then they would come apart in use.

Bottom Line: Do not hesitate to buy these. Worth every penny, and I got free shipping too! Enjoy!

I bought this skateboard/bike ramp for my son for Christmas. The ramps are well-built and quite sturdy. Due to their large size, though, they are a little cumbersome to move around and/or store. The biggest problem we have had is that once the ramps are connected together (in whatever configuration you decide), they are VERY difficult to get separated again. Perhaps this will ease with time and use but, initially, my son became VERY frustrated at the amount of time it took to get them apart. Overall, though, a good product that I think will bring years of use!

These don't replace a skate park,,,but it's a great alternative. I chose these because the reviews were by far better than all the other ramps on the internet. I purchased them over a year ago and they are still going strong. The ends do not curl up as some of the reviews were on other brand ramps. My son's are 10 and 6,,,when these are outside,,,many other kids use their bikes, skateboards and rollerblades on them, teenagers and adults use them too. Very excellent product that lasts. Don't waste your money on anything else. Get these...

Our house is the place to play when these are brought outside. The kids love it but kids need to be supervised when this is used. Kids just being kids will try things which they shouldn't. lol. My nephew broke his collar bone when he had the ramps too far apart.
