These cards are well organized and present the material in a clear and consice manner. The case presentations are very helpful as well.

My professor teaches pathology from Robbins, 7th Ed. As many Path students know, the book is extremely thorough and covers a huge number diseases. The cards do not cover the same number of diseases. I found myself still making my own cards because my professor will ask questions from all the diseases covered.

I found that the cards are great for review with BRS or Rapid Review style book. In this situation the diseases reviewed are very similar. I look forward to using the cards more during my review for Step 1.

I would recommend this product to others however if you are a 2nd year student it may not take the place of making your own cards, but it will reduce the number. If you are reviewing for Step 1 I think that they would be great.

I was skeptical about these cards at first. They're literally printed on paper (not notecards), and they're packed with way too much information for quick flashcard review. However, they were indispensable during 2nd year. Granted, they don't cover all of the diseases in Robbin's, but I rather preferred it that way; diseases they didn't cover, I figured were low yield, and this served me fairly well. There is a clinical vignette on one side, and then the disease name and description on the other with important information in bold. I used my pharmcards and microcards sporadically, but these were a mainstay.

These cards are fantastic and are definitely perfect for medical students in the second year or those who are preparing for USMLE Step 1. All major topics are covered efficiently but with a good level of detail. The Organizational outline card before each organ-system block was an especially nice touch. Overall, these are a great resource, and I would highly recommend them.

I have not found a more concise and easy to use pathology review source. They helped tremendously in my effort to pass the USMLE Step 1. I hope they come out with more review sets on other subjects.

This is a total must-have for step 1. It covers all the bases but is still concise.

I recommend this wholeheartedly to anyone taking step 1!

I like using these flashcards because they are small, easy to carry around and have great clinical histories that provide board-style review of the concepts which is the best way to learn things in my opinion. The negatives of these cards are that they are on thin paper, unlike the laminated Lippincott Microcards that everyone uses (which are amazing). There are also some mistakes on these cards or things written on them that are not true. However, I would probably still buy them again because when reviewing for a test, it saves a ton of time to just flip through them and get good clinical cases which will be exactly like your test questions.

Extremely helpful. Very concise. Includes morphology, buzzwords, treatment, and a little clinical vignette (plus much more) for practically every disease learned in Pathology. Great for class use and for a quick review before an exam.

These are pretty much the same as the second edition. I purchased both thinking they were different; however they don't seem to be...so I gave this set to a classmate. If one is short on funds, these would be fine instead of the second edition.
