Haven't actually used it yet, but looks to be very functional, easy to read. Of note: check the size on what you're buying-- I expected a 4"x6" like my French one by the same company, but this one is smaller (maybe 3"x4"?).

We have other language Langenscheidt's Dictionaries, all are very handy and small, very concise and easy to carry. However, if you need help with Italian pronounciation, this is not it! This must be the Italian edition, only prefaced for English, because it has pronounciation for the English words! (glad to know how to pronounce "cat"...) - It has a one page key of info for pronounciation, but for the words themselves you are on your own. If you know another language (German in my case) you probably won't have any problems, but Italian has some special rules for pronouncing certain c, ch, g, and gh sounds - so you can get in trouble there.

This dictionary is great for travel. A bigger dictionary will have more words, but this is the dictionary that will fit in your pocket and will be going with you to class, the restaurant, the market, etc. If you need a larger dictionary to get you out of trouble, you never should have told that Italian joke. It wasn't your fault the pazzo had no sense of humor.

This is an excellent dictionary. I wasn't thinking about how big it would be, though, so I didn't take it to Italy after all. But I'm glad to have it.
