4.0 out of 5 stars I've used it, and it works very well.
I'm replying because I read the first person's negative review, and based on my experience, I thought it was unfair to the product.

2.0 out of 5 stars Didn't work to my expectation
This product easily removes excess touch up paint but I was not able to make the surface completly smooth and blended in. It could be just me but I'm sure most people buying this don't know how to wet sand either. I'm just a regular joe. I would only use this to remove big blobs and then just start over with a touch up paint pen.

I'm replying because I read the first person's negative review, and based on my experience, I thought it was unfair to the product.

The heart of Langka is the liquid. It seems to be rubbing compound mixed with a solvent that dissolves touch-up paints, but not OEM paints. You lay a flat rag over the included credit-card-style plastic card, soak it with the liquid, and simply buff out the spot. It doesn't require any special skill. You just have to keep the rag lying flat on the card and be pretty generous with the goo.

If the touch-up paint is built up enough in the damaged area that there isn't a cavity, Langka does a very nice job. If there's still a concave area, then use Langka until the edges are flat, touch-up again, and use Langka again. Lather, rinse, repeat.

A year or two ago, a neighbor walked up to a '92 car I'd bought new. It was black, the easiest color to touch up, but he muttered aloud to himself that he couldn't keep his rear bumper damage-free like I'd managed to do with mine. I hadn't. It was touch-up paint and Langka.

There are no miracles, and it's not inexpensive for the rather small quantity you get, but this is good stuff. For smaller hairline scratches like buffing marks, by the way, where you aren't applying any paint and just want a quick fix, Nu-Finish Scratch Doctor is good too.

5.0 out of 5 stars really works!, November 16, 2010

used it on a handful of dings from rocks and a couple of scratches. It works just like it says, removing only touchup paint and not the oem paint. it really does take a very light touch to make it look right.

This stuff works wonders. I applied it to some old blobs of touch up paint and with just a little bit of effort, the blobs came right off. The bottle is pretty small but I'd say it's well worth the price if you were a bit overzealous with your touch up paint.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works perfect!, June 17, 2011

I got a bunch of rock chips on my brand new car, so I touched them up with touch up paint. Unfortunately, even though I was extremely careful the touch up paint stuck out like a sore thumb. I was freaking out because you could see 3 small blotches of paint on the front hood and it made the rest of the car look terrible. So I looked online and found this blob eliminator and ordered it... I just received the stuff today and tried it and it took the "blobs" out and did an amazing job! No matter how close I look I can't see where I touched up! I highly recommend this stuff!!
