Title says it all. This book was pretty good for essay prep. It broke down the essays step by step, and provided various responses for the essay prompts. However, the multiple choice sections were mediocre at best. The questions were not similar to ones on the actual exam, and very ambiguous. The answers and explanations for them were a bit confusing and not helpful at all. If you need essay work, its not a bad buy. If you want more multiple choice prep, ask your teacher for copies of released College Board exams or Acorn exams, which are very similar to the MC on the College Board exam.

This was not a terrific preparation guide, but it is an adequate addition to the library for AP teachers and tutors. As a tutor, I will use the book as a source of extra practice for my students.
