An excellent guide for students learning Thai,

This book is an excellent book for people wishing to learn Thai speech and writing. It uses both phonetic Thai and Thai script. Using both books 1 and 2 over a year of study I obtained a fairly good grasp of speech and written Thai which enabled me to communicate on a basic level when visiting Thailand. Highly reccomended for anyone wishing to learn the language.

If you are an intermediate students and already know some Thai, this is a good text book for you. All AUA books are practical for Thai language learners.
