This book is packed with an incredible amount of information on language development making it a good resource. However, this incredible detail is confusing for students taking their first course in language development.

This book is chock-full of vital information on the subject. The issue is that it is not an easy read. The words are small and it seems as if the info just goes on and on and on with no page breaks or chapter reviews often. But because of the good content, I've decided to keep the book instead of selling it back.

I ordered this for my daughter for college. This is way cheaper than the college bookstore. Item came without delay. Pretty fast, thank you!

This book was the most confusing text I have ever read. The author jumps back and forth between infant weeks, months, and years which made it really confusing when trying to understand the order of milestones. The author expressed too many opinions and personal experiences. This made it difficult to understand the "typical" development of a child. I have seen other reviews explain that the book is very advanced; perhaps this is true because I am an undergraduate student. I may keep the book in case I need it later on, but overall, there has to be a more understandable book out there.

Dr. Bob's Language Development textbook is one to keep for a future speech-language pathologist, or any one in field of health sciences or elementary to secondary education. It is laid out in an organized manner with helpful diagrams and interesting narratives.

This book gives comprehensive detail on how language is normally developed. Its very easy to understand

I usually order my textbooks from Amazon because it's cheaper than the college bookstore. However, you can find them even cheaper on eBay.
