This is a classic book which describes how two people's bodies physiologically respond when they interact. This is important stuff, considering how profoundly blood pressure can rise with a simple conversation. Lynch put years into exploring this.

I had the opportunity to read this book when it was first published. It was recommended by a cardiologist friend with whom I was working with at the time in a major hospital in the area of cardiac rehabilitation.

Dr. Lynch's book was and is profound-and his observations on the interaction between husband and wife, and life-long mates and what takes place when one dies to the remaining spouses heart and health is spot on in my observations working day to day in a clinical setting.

I highly recommend this book to everyone, and especially the health care profession, which at times loses sight of the humanity in an attempt to separate the mind/heart from the body's symptoms.
