This review is from: The Language of the Heart: A Cultural History of the Recovery Movement from Alcoholics Anonymous to Oprah Winfrey (Hardcover)
This book was very enlightening for me. I had a concept of the early history of recovery and its progression to current time, based on my own experience. This book gave me additional information and insight into other happenings in the field that I was not aware of. A truly informative find.

"The Language of the Heart" is on the ROROTOKO list of cutting-edge intellectual nonfiction. Professor Travis's book interview ran here as the cover feature on January 27, 2010.
