If you're like me and really enjoyed the EP, you will not be disappointed with the full album.

The only reason this is 3 stars instead of 5 is because this albums has been censored, even though it clearly has the word explicit in the description. This is not the fault of the artist, I’m sure, because I’ve seen recorded live performances of the song and there are curse words in the song. If you’re going to censor the album you should tell people that and sell 2 different versions. I want the music the way the artist intended it to be, that’s why I bought the explicit version.

That being said I love the Bad Suns and all of their music, can’t wait to see them live in Tucson when they come through in July.

This is a fantastic new band and this CD is my favorite of the year so far. I heard Cardiac Arrest on the radio and immediately looked these guys up. Their sound is sort of a blend between The Bravery and Vampire Weekend. They have nice beat and the singer's voice can have some real punch when he wants it to. Language and Perspective is phenomenal and I highly recommend it. The gems of the CD, for me, are:

Cardiac Arrest: The song is so catchy and something everyone can relate to. "I'll try my best, how much do I invest?"

Dancing in Quicksand: A very fluid song, just like dancing in quicksand. Something you can just bob along with and feel.

Take My Love and Run: Provides a more methodic pace and good progression from verse to chorus. On the bridge, goes with a nice blend of harder drums and very melodic instrumentals and vocals.

I really couldn't be able to express how much I LOVE this album. I have been listening to it non-stop since I bought it. I'd found "Cardiac Arrest" in one of the Artists to Watch selections on the Amazon MP3 store, and was immediately hooked. Fortunately, the album proved to be one of my all-time favorites. Enough pop to be catchy, enough rock to be considered REAL music, and the vocals give me chills. It's my perfect album, the kind where I can put in my ear buds and immerse myself in the music. Heaven.

Can't wait to see these guys go even bigger- they've proven they definitely deserve it :)

Terrific album! Not a single bad track and all are very listenable and catchy. My favorite is Salt, with Cardiac Arrest a close second. I have had the entire album on my iPod since it was released and i'm still not tired of it. I saw Bad Suns at a tiny club in San Francisco last month, and while their live show isn't as polished as their album, it was lots of fun. They are most definitely on their way up.

CENSORED. The CD is absolutely amazing, however it does not state anywhere that it is censored. The censoring is quite jarring and interrupts the flow of the songs. It should state in the title that it is [Censored], not [Explicit]. Please try to find an uncensored version so you can understand how great this band is.

on my first listen i would have given it a 3 star review because i thought it just sounded like Walk The Moon, but a bit off. Since then it's grown on me and I've seen them live opening for The 1975 and i feel like i get it now. it's a decent album.

I was looking forward to this. Included are three songs from their "Transpose EP". The music is energetic and solid, with thought provoking lyrics. The album lives up to the promise of the EP. It's great to listen to all the way through.
Favorites include: " Matthew James ", "We Move Like the Ocean", " Cardiac Arrest", "Take My Love And Run", "Salt", "Transpose", and "Learn To Trust".

8/3/14: Amazon's mp3 version of this album has been pulled because one of the tracks was an edited/censored version. It's unfortunate that they couldn't just relabel this as a 'clean' version rather than pull the whole album.
The complaint about the censoring is valid because the edited track (Dancing On Quicksand) has blank spaces that interfere with the flow of the song. Hopefully, Amazon will soon provide the unedited version which is available from other stores.

To be fair to Amazon, customer service issued a refund since the album was materially different than advertised. I would have preferred a replacement unedited version of the one song, and would have accepted a refund for just the edited track, but they said those options weren't possible. I hope this doesn't hurt the band...
