This book is well written and informative. People should know that it is written by a minister and is highly influenced by the Christian faith. The Bible is the main reference work which is fine as long as people are aware that is what they are purchasing. Regardless of your faith, the book is very good at describing differences in how people relate and interact with one another.

I wasn't aware that the book applied to the particular DVD for Five Love Languages. Now I need to buy that to use appropriately.

This workbook is a valuable companion for small group studies of the Five Love Languages. However, there's not much to it. It is worth $5.00. It is not worth $12.63.

My small group is currently using this book along with the Five Love Languages study video. It is easy to follow along and take notes. Each love language and dialect is described in detail and in plain language which is easy to understand. My favorite part is the applications which are suggestions for activities you might do to start practicing loving your spouse in his or her language. If you've already read the Five Love Languages book, the study guide repeats much of the same things.

I am a marriage family therapist by trade and recommend this book especially to couples who come in for treatment. I also do premarital counseling and the church I work with requires three premarital sessions. This book is one of the required reading tools we use during their premarital counseling. I highly recommend this book and it's companion books for singles, teens, and children. The author is insightful and informative. It's well written and an easy read so folks can get a lot out of it and put it into practical application easily.

This is meant to be done along with the did lesson guides but it is amazing. Gary Chapman knows what he is doing. If you are trying to save your marriage or trying to protect it from harm I highly recommend it!
